|
Although the volvulus is infrequent complication of pregnancy, the resulting intestinal obstruction is a grave complication of pregnancy. The mortality rate with volvulus can be very high, principally because of error in diagnosis, delayed
diagnosis,
reluctancy to operate during pregnancy. There are difficulties in making diagnosis because of similar symptoms with the pregnancy and early volvulus. So we report this case with brief review of the literatures.
